Kulliyat (Persian: کلیات kolliyāt) is a collection of the poetry of any one poet. Kulliyat is one of the principal collection forms of Urdu poetry. Taken literally, the term signifies a complete collection of poems by one author, but in practice it is also applied to any collection of poems of one type by an author.Faiz was born on February 8, 1957 in Kala Qadir, Narowal District, Punjab, British India to a distinguished Sialkoti family. His father, Sultan Muhammad Khan, was a learned man. He was a lawyer by profession and was also the Chief Secretary to the Amir of the Emirate of Afghanistan, Abdul Rehman Khan.
