Books of Mustansir Hussain Tarar
Mustansir hails from Gujarat but currently lives in Lahore. As a child, he had the opportunity to see the establishment of Pakistan. He wrote many good books which became very popular. He writes mostly travelogues. His father Rehmat Khan Tarar belonged to a farming family in Gujarat. Mustansir accepted deep influence from his father. Mustansir Hussain Tarar was awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit for his literary services and his novel "Ash" was awarded the Prime Minister's Literary Award in the category of Best Novel in 1999. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in Doha, Qatar in 2002.
Mustansar was awarded the Prime Minister's Literary Award in the category of Best Novel in 1999, the main theme of which was the fall of Dhaka and the situation in Karachi in the following years. "Qila Jangi.pdf" was written against the backdrop of the US invasion of Afghanistan after 9/11. Along with Urdu, he also successfully experimented with novel writing in Punjabi. He also wrote fiction in this journey. One of the hallmarks of his identity is his columnism, in which his style is most distinct. "Khas wa Khashak Zamana.pdf" is a huge novel which tells the story of two families spread cover many generations.
Mustansir Hussain Tarar is a well-known travel correspondent in Pakistan. Has written more than fifty books so far. He is best known for his travelogues (Safarnama) and novels. He was also involved in drama, fiction and acting. He is one of the most widely read writers in Pakistan
